What I do

#1

Research

Between my graduate degrees and industry experience, I have years of experience in building surveys, A/B testing, focus testing and interviews. My area of research was in the social dynamics of technology, because after years of spending time in forums and playing video games, I wanted to know how to better these communities, while also showing people why they should adopt the technology.

#2

Data Analysis

I completed my Master’s thesis using advanced regression techniques, also utilizing multilevel modeling and mediation analyses. I have also published several papers using different analyses, from ANOVA to invariance testing, and, more recently, have been involved as a consultant on COVID wastewater analysis testing and machine learning. I am experienced in SPSS, Microsoft Office, R, and SQL, and I have limited experience coding in Python as well. I also have used Tableau professionally since the beginning of 2022.

#3

Project Management

Since starting my Master’s degree, I have been responsible for overseeing a number of projects, including one where I had undergraduates code movies with AI in it, and another where we collected historical data on the etymologies of terms related to AI. More recently, as the Technical Team Lead of Advanced Symbolics Inc., I have been the project manager across customer accounts, ensuring every report reaching customers stands up to the scrutiny that customers expect from careful and thoughtful analysis.
